We are a growing business, and always want to hear from creative, driven and skilled individuals. From 2013 to 2015 our workforce has doubled in order to keep up with increasing demand. The production and warehouse teams are always growing as this increase continues. Recently we have had a huge drive in our marketing and web teams to help grow our online presence to the highest standard.

In 2014 we started our first graduate and apprenticeship scheme. We took on a small number of apprentices in different departments of the business, from production to web development. They have swiftly become invaluable members of staff and essential parts of the family.

Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Grange Moor, Wakefield

The Role: Working closely with the MD and Senior Managers you will be fully responsible for the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy for Interior Goods Direct Limited and Green & Brown Ltd. This includes a series of websites which target specific blind types in the window finishing’s business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for planning all marketing activity across the main brand.
  • Develop a brand strategy for the group of websites.
  • Manage and run a large number of small website developments, working in conjunction with our head of web and IT.
  • Support the content marketing team in developing content marketing strategy.
  • Developing creative briefs and managing campaigns through to execution.
  • Management of a large and fast paced workload through an experienced team.
  • Planning and executing all campaigns through the marketing team. (including: web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising)
  • Measuring and reporting performance of all marketing campaigns (including digital), and assessing against goals.
  • Closely tracking different lead sources such as websites, campaigns, social media, events, referrals, news and media to build our leads database.
  • Collaborating with web developers to create websites and optimize user experience.
  • Evaluating end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Managing print design from design through to completion.
  • Experience in online shopping experiences a distinct advantage.


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, 1 year management level.
  • Experience capturing and delivering marketing performance measurement/KPIs and lead tracking reports.
  • Broad, all round experience within digital marketing and print.
  • Must have experience of utilising marketing automation tools
  • Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout
  • Commercial experience in a similar field.
  • Great knowledge of ASA rules and sales and promotions relating to advertising standards.

Email Marketing Executive

Job Summary

Interior Goods Direct is a leading online retailer based in West Yorkshire looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with a keen interest in interiors and excellent attention to detail. This exciting new position within our Marketing department is to ensure the delivery of high quality, engaging email marketing campaigns. We are seeking an email marketing specialist who is also savvy in other B2C digital and direct marketing, ideally including commercial partnerships, print advertising and direct mail. We are looking for a person that will break the boundaries and deliver a cutting-edge direct marketing strategy which will rival competitors.

Reporting to the Marketing management team, our Email Marketing Executive will be responsible for the day to day running of multiple email lists, ultimately driving brand awareness, sales and traffic across several ecommerce websites. The ideal candidate will be driven and ambitious with exceptional knowledge of HTML, MailChimp or similar, a keen interest for interior design and plenty of creative flair.


  • Day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Support and positively influence the creating, planning and implementation of an Email and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, website visitors and ROI.
  • Driving increased customer lifetime value, including measurement and reporting.
  • Increasing revenue and transaction values for the Email Channel, including increasing conversion rates.
  • Developing, recommending and implementing initiatives to drive the effective growth of an engaged customer database.
  • Developing the email marketing calendar, analysing and considering performance from historical campaigns and ensuring strategically aligned to supporting the wider marketing plans.
  • Designing and creating emails, including banners and graphics in Photoshop.
  • Writing copy for email campaigns, including subject lines.
  • Curating and editing images for Email content.
  • Ensuring email marketing campaigns are consistent with brand guidelines, brand strategy and onsite activity, engaging with onsite Graphic Design team where applicable.
  • Maintaining a knowledge of and implementing 'best practise' email marketing campaigns in terms of deliverability, spam filters, opens and clicks.
  • Initiating and acting on learnings from A/B testing to continually push towards achieving 'best-in-class' marketing that delivers measurable results.
  • Producing dashboard reports for the management team, including supporting detailed reports which highlight the key findings and performance results of each campaign.
  • Liaising with buyers and trend specialists to optimise sales through product selection, factoring seasons, new products and own-brand products.
  • Keeping up with trends and competitors to ensure top performance of all emails.
  • Supporting the wider Marketing and Merchandising team in promoting new products, collections and sales.
  • Staying up to date with the Email marketing industry, including new platforms and tools.
  • Ensuring the email marketing channel is performing to sales revenue targets.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of email marketing for the 'trade division' of the business.
  • Working to a strict schedule ensuring all Emails are the best they can be.
  • Support both the marketing management and wider management team

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • A passion for customer-led marketing but equally commercially focussed.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams, collaborating with the wider business and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Experience of working in a creative Email marketing position.
  • Experience of the full range of the Marketing Mix, including Tone of Voice.
  • Portfolio of active or completed Email campaigns.
  • Creativity to deliver bespoke Email campaigns.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a Retail Marketing environment.
  • Adaptable communications skills to target different audiences.
  • Driven and results orientated individual with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisation skills who is able to prioritise workload.

Factory Supervisor

Reports To: Senior Production Supervisor / Manager

Location: Grange Moor, Wakefield

Direct Reports: Production Operatives, Picking, Packing, Incentive Reports Job Purpose: To manage the department and all direct staff. To ensure the smooth running of the production process and assist the senior production supervisor with efficacy changes. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications and unsure quality assurances are kept at all times. Target and deadlines are met to achieve the best output on orders. To ensure that all direct staff comply with the companies Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • To take full responsibility of the department in the terms of the management of staff, management of production and quality targets and ensure the smooth running of production processes.
  • To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced in line with the companies’ quality systems, processes and procedures.
  • Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff.
  • Monitor measure and report on production related process performance, general issues.
  • To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff.
  • To ensure that training skills are met for current and future demands if the shifts.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards are met and continues improvement of the 5S policy.
