Customer Service Advisors

Location: temporary remote working arrangement

Full Time: 40 hours per week. Day shift: 4 x weekdays; 9am – 6pm and 1x weekend day; 10am – 4pm or

Evening Shift: Sunday – Thursday; 1.30pm – 10pm.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £8.72. Plus, annual bonus potential.

We are looking for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join our growing team.

This is a varied role but essentially you will provide an excellent customer experience by phone, email and live chat. You’ll be responding to customer queries in relation to our products, providing timely updates regarding their orders, liaising with our courier provider to arrange deliveries, updating our internal systems and liaising with internal colleagues to coordinate this process.

Essential Skills & Experience

You will be energetic, ambitious, have a good work ethic and always be prepared to go the extra mile as well as having:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service is essential – either via phone or via email
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Multitasking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for customer service and able to understand and meet the customers’ needs to the best of your ability
  • A professional telephone manner and ability to effectively communicate verbally

eBay Sales Executive

Immediate Start

Location: Unit 9 – Jubilee Way. Wakefield WF4 4TD

Full Time: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday; 8.30 – 5pm

Contract Type: Monthly rolling contract until project completed (2-3 months)

Hourly Rate: National Minimum Wage, plus a completion bonus

If so, we have the ideal temporary opportunity for you – doing what you love and getting paid for it!

We are a successful and established online retailer specialising in high-quality window and home furnishings and accessories. We are looking for a digital marketplace selling enthusiast to join the business on a temporary basis to take ownership of a project aimed at generating sales revenue by selling obsolete stock lines on eBay.

This is a varied project and will be perfect for someone whose favourite past-time is to sell on digital marketplace selling sites and is looking for temporary work (estimated to last up to 3 months) and a great opportunity to gain practical experience in e-commerce.

About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end to end process of selling our obsolete stock on our eBay account, from preparing the items for sale on the selling site right through to organising prompt delivery and offering after sales support to the customer.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Cataloguing items and listing on eBay; including basic photographing the product and writing appealing descriptions.
  • Ensuring all products are merchandised correctly and commercially presented online. This includes managing the addition of new products, reviewing existing product presentation, and implementing improvement to the product content.
  • Managing the inventory for this project – this includes picking the items for sale
  • Liaising with relevant production departments to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Providing a good customer service by responding to customer enquiries in a timely fashion to maintain and improve our eBay store reputation.
  • Working in a way in which the eBay account can build trust and serve the most accurate, relevant, and appealing product information to the customer.
  • Ensuring a high eBay reputation by prompt despatch of orders & after-sale support
Who are we looking for?

Someone with a passion for selling via digital marketplace – eBay. Has a professional approach and understands the importance of providing a good customer service and;

  • Is tech savvy and has experience of managing a digital selling account and successfully selling via digital marketplaces (can be for personal or business purposes)
  • Has ability to write appealing item descriptions, and advertise our products in a way that is appealing and attractive to the customer
  • Experience of communicating with customers via the selling sites and following up as required to provide a good customer service and retain an excellent seller reputation
  • Self-motivated, highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines and from your own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English – verbal, spoken and written.
  • Suitable mathematical and analytical skills. IT literate to he required standard, including Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge or experience of digital marketing, e-commerce, and commercial awareness would be ideal as would basic photography skills.
